Hi All! Ailee and Christine here, and we are so so so excited to announce that our cat haven has secured a spot in the Bay Area! To be more specific, we will be located in the city of Santa Clara, so keep an eye out on our newsletter/social media for upcoming updates 👀.

A little bit more about how we got here… We started our research on how to start a cat cafe in CA back in 2022 with equal amounts of curiosity, ambition, and excitement. During the last 1.5 years, we’ve come across many hurdles, the biggest being our fear of becoming small business owners. We’re sure most, if not all, business owners have come across feelings of “What if I don’t make it?”, “This is a lot of money”, “Am I ready to sacrifice my time and finances for something uncertain?” and more. With our previous backgrounds in tech and corporate, this jump into becoming business owners seemed a lot scarier in the beginning as we were used to living the 9-5 life. Being honest, we’ve had many moments of cold feet and doubting our decisions. However, past the 1 year mark of research and preparation, we both felt confident and resolute about pursuing our passion of operating a cafe to help rescue cats in need.

Over the next few months, we are going to post a lot more newsletters/updates on our website as well as social media on our progress. Be on the lookout as we are also preparing to launch a Kickstarter offering many exclusive deals for our soon-to-come cat haven.
